Duet of prisoneres escaped from this madhouse and ensconced themselves in a city Jihlava in the land of Czech republic. Guys Petr and Petr are neither madmen and have probably not been in californian Harmony Bay but some of you may think there are no bigger musician-perversionists in the world after you hear this CD… Hundred-per-cently not those who are so exactnessly able to create the most complicated, the most insidious and the most stunning moments. In case you thought a band can not be added to any style, believe that Harmony Bay really can not be added anywhere!

One of Petrs has pseudonym GravYY in the booklet and is in charge of all „abnormal“ instruments apart from drums. The other half autographes as Bob and you’ll esteem his dexterous fingers because he supplies all the guitar parts and all „normal“ instruments for once… But what to identify as abnormal and what normal at Harmony Bay??? Very hard to say because there is nothing normal on the CD, that’s why the name „If you deserve this…“. You must have special, mad and not normal state of mind to be able to survive all the 6 tracks. It is slightly possible to characterize simplificationaly. Detach the most unnatural jazz and blues  Le Scrawl passages, remember crazy/gay roar Gronibard singer, add degenerate solos of  some heavy metal classics, pepper by a dose of fast and integrated death metal with common growl, do not forget to salt by genial technical art presented by Vuvr or Scenery, plus especial keyboards and brutal fast death metal connection from Lykathea Aflame and if you think it is combinatively few distinctive then multiply this twice. Finally imagine you add various instruments like piano, brass and various sounds of all kinds, mad smiles, screams, vocals and even rough but clear vocal, everything runs in completely nontraditional and beyond the pale methods. Then you have a half concept of Harmony Bay and their musical and philosophical feeling. In addition seemingly unreasonable lyrics are another so noncommon thing… Does it seem unbelievable and mainly unconceivable? It also seems to me strange when I am reading what I wrote but a man who has not hear this, can not believe… It is also needed to notify that both masters handle their instruments perfectly. Bethink they both played in Jihlava death band Parricide. The last piece called Jam Advantage confirms excellent together playing. Jam Advantage’s playing time is „it depends“. You’ll soon recognize a bass link is pre-definated but both champions have quality jam session in that piece…

„If you deserve this…“ can not be taken seriously and both musicians know this. That is why you will surely smile and stick at communicative YY part „Plop“ or at vocalable part „Stalk“ with really strange refrain „parw pü pü pü parw pü pü pü“ conformable to hen enticement. (smile) In sort-to levigate this food in stomach takes troubles at first but when you drown into Harmony Bay music you’ll take a fancy every moment of the dicsc and you’ll be charmed how far it is possible to displace borders of unorthodoxness and originality. But there is not lack of hit ambitions and the recording does NOT bore for any while. Guys, BRAVO! I really advise all opened minds who want to hear something very very original! But look out-you could become an inmate of a certain institution, yeeaahhhh,blaa,echt,chaeeiuβ,whwh,yaya,brrr
